USA - The Annual Feed the Indigent Children Initiative (May 2016)
The United States Grand Priory held its annual Birthday Party for indigent children of migrant farm workers during the month of May. Over 200 workers and children attended. The concept behind this annual event is the practical societal inclusion of stratificationally lacking citizens from around the region. We had booths of clothes and shoes for them collected by our members and distributed free of charge. A special Birthday Cake, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, juice boxes and bottled water were painstakingly prepared by our volunteers and served. A huge thank you goes to Chevalier Joseph Luna and his son Zander for coordinating this event. Over 50 children were able to get outfitted with new clothes and shoes.
