Serbia: Nis Clinic for Surgical Interventions celebrates 5th anniversary (November 2019)
The Clinic for Surgical Intervention has celebrated its fifth anniversary since its official opening. Its anniversary, on the 24th of the month, also commemorates the glory and spiritual guardianship of its protector, the Holy King Stefan Decanskog.
The Clinic has been the pride and joy of our Serbian Grand Prior, Chev. Dragan Milic. Dragan and his team have worked endlessly in order to secure private sponsorships and donations throughout these years, ensuring that the Nis Clinic has the best state of the art equipment and human resources to assist the population of the South of Serbia. During these 5 years, the clinic received 7,679 patients, of which 4,682 patients required surgery. From the latter number, there were 1,516 patients which underwent heart surgery and 39 kidney transplants. The total registered mortality rate is 1.97 %!
These great results justify the satisfaction of our Serbian brothers and sisters. But more is in the pipeline - in ten days' time, Dragan’s team will open a new department at the clinic with new devices that will be able to raise the level of services provided by the clinic to even better heights.
