Germany: Financial and other Donations to the Vulnerable (December 2019)
On Saint Nicolaus Day, December 6th, 2019, Sister Gabriele Neuen from the German Grand Priory presented the managing director of "Tafel Bad Durkheim" with a donation of 800 Euros from the proceeds of the last German Grand Priory investiture held in Mannheim earlier this year. We will continue to sup-port Tafel Bad Durkheim.
Donation to the Gotha Culture Foundation: In October 2019, the German Grand Priory, again by means of our sister Gabriele Neuen, made a private donation of 200 Euros to the Gotha Culture Foundation to support projects on site.
Donation of a new TV for a senior home: On the evening of October 22, 2019, the German Grand Prior handed over a new television set to a resident of a senior home in Mannheim, whose entire property was destroyed.
Donation for the "Christmas Campaign Tafel Burgkunstadt": For many years the German Grand Priory has been supporting a joint Christmas campaign "Christmas packages for children of the Burgkunstadt table", which is being carried out by the Corps Saint Lazarus Germany (CSLD). The support from sisters and brothers of our order was immense this year, a total of 2,920 Euros was raised. Many thanks to all donors, especially the brothers Chris and Awais!
Donation of pasta: Our brother Awais from the German Grand Priory organized a delivery of pasta in December, which should take place before Christmas. This donation was given to a residential home and was aimed at assisting vulnerable members of society who do not always have family and friends to aid and assist them during the Yuletide period.
