France - Memorandum between Etoilr Civique and Brazilian Grand Priory (October 2018)
The Grand Priory of Brazil, by means of its Grand Prior, the Chev. Roberto Ortiz, has continued its vocation to open up to the world and to ally internationally with historically strong and representative entities. With this in mind, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the association Etoile Civique and the Brazilian Grand Priory on October 8, 2018. The memorandum signed stresses on the main tasks of a friendship agreement and mutual cooperation.
Etoile Civique is an association founded in 1930, officially crowned by the French Academy. The main purpose is to honour the courage and dedication to the next, paying tribute to the acts and behaviours that attest to them.
Etoile Civique has the following essential purposes:
- The improvement of the situation of individuals, regardless of their age, nationality, color, social status, taking into account their moral and material interests, within the human family.
- The protection of human rights, respect for the duties of the citizen, by reference to each other, to the universal declaration that defines them.
In addition to the signed document, the official start of this international partnership was marked by the exchange of decorations.
