Curacao - Priory Organises Monastic Public Lecture (April 2019)
The Priory of Curacao of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus, together with its fully-fledged member sister organisation the Sacred Medical Order of the Knights of Hope, organised a well-attended public lecture on the history of monastic orders in the national library. The event, chaired by Curacao Prior the Chev. Marwen Saab KLJ, had, as its main guest speaker, the Grand Master of the Sacred Medical Order of the Knights of Hope, the Chevalier Charles McWilliams.
Members of the Priory and the public in general were invited to the event and refreshments were given after. During the lecture, the speakers dwelt extensively on the medieval history of the Order of St. Lazarus and its impact on 21st century chivalric organisations.
