Brazil: Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems for Public Safety (October 2019)
In October 2019, members and volunteers from the Brazil Grand Priory finished the theoretical modules of the course of introduction to remotely piloted aircraft systems, after a gruelling induction course spanning a number of weeks at the general investigations station of Campinas.
After four weeks, the new remote pilots are already registered and able to request flights in the Brazilian Air Force Control Department (Decea /FAB) System.
Two Dji Phantom 4 aircraft have also been approved by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ICAO). These aircraft will be used in research aid operations.
The command of the Air Body São Lazarus Brazil and its members feel honoured to be able to contribute by means of this public safety initiative to the protection of our citizens.
